Peninsula Machineries

Peninsula Machineries at Plot 4310 in Ankleshwar G.I.D.C. started because we just wanted to work for ourselves and build things. It’s an industrial area, so there is always noise and movement outside. You can find us near the main road where all the trucks pass through. We spend most of our time on the shop floor dealing with machines and parts. It isn't a fancy setup. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but the equipment we have does the job. Most of the guys here have been around for years. We know each other's families and what everyone likes to eat for lunch. We don't really do big meetings or fancy presentations. If a customer comes in, they usually just walk straight to the back where the work is happening. Sometimes the power goes out in the G.I.D.C., and we all just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s a simple way of working. We handle the daily orders as they come. Sometimes it’s busy and we stay late, other times it’s quiet. We don't have a big corporate office with a receptionist. You just walk in and ask for whoever is available. That’s just how Peninsula Machineries has always been run. It’s about the metal and the machines, really. Nothing more to it than that. We just keep the lights on and keep moving forward every day.
