We are located at 210/211 in the Ashwamegh Complex, which is part of the Kiritkunj Society in Raopura. If you know where the Sayaji Vihar Club is, we are right opposite that. It’s a good location because people use the club for reference all the time. Patel Shirish Kumar Ranchhod is the name on our records. Our office is actually two rooms joined together, which gives us a bit more space than some of the other units in the complex. It’s on the second floor, so we get a good breeze if the windows are open. Raopura is a historic part of the city, and you can feel that when you walk around the streets nearby. The complex itself is quite old and has that specific smell of concrete and old paper. The stairs are a bit narrow, so people usually take the elevator, even though it’s a bit temperamental sometimes. Inside, we have a few desks and a lot of shelving for all the books and files we’ve collected over the years. It’s not a modern glass-and-steel office, but it’s comfortable and familiar. I usually bring a thermos of tea from home and spend the morning catching up on whatever needs doing. It’s a steady routine in a place that feels like home. We don't try to impress anyone; we just do our work and keep things simple for everyone involved.
