Paradise Unisex Hair Studio

Paradise Unisex Hair Studio is situated at Shop Number 2 in the Krishna Dham Complex. We are right on the Gotri Main Road, not too far from the Iscon Temple Road. It’s a good spot because people always pass by on their way to the temple or the local shops. The studio is a bit more modern than some others, but it’s still just a regular workplace. I have a few big chairs that swivel and a long counter for all the sprays and gels. Being unisex means we see everyone, from young kids getting their first haircut to older people who have lived in Gotri forever. The Krishna Dham Complex has a lot of other shops, so it’s always active. I usually start by cleaning the glass front in the morning. The main road is dusty, so I have to wipe things down a lot. We have a small bench for people to wait on, though it’s usually covered in newspapers. The air conditioner works most of the time, which is a relief in the summer. We don't do much talking about "style," we just listen to what people want and try to do it right. Sometimes the shop gets so full that people have to wait outside on the pavement. It’s a steady rhythm of snipping and washing hair. We just take it one customer at a time and keep going.
