Panchsheel Hair Dressers

Our shop, Panchsheel Hair Dressers, is located on Water Tank Road in the Karelibaug area. We are quite easy to find because we are right near the Saibaba Temple and directly across from Deepa Sweet. It is a good spot to be in. People often stop by for a haircut after they visit the temple or after picking up some sweets for their family. The road outside is always humming with some kind of activity. We have been here in Karelibaug for many years now. Our shop isn't one of those modern parlors with big glass walls and bright signs. It is a traditional hair dressing spot. We still have the old-style heavy chairs and the big mirrors that we've had for a long time. It feels familiar and comfortable to the people who live around this part of town. We spend our whole day handling the regular flow of neighbors. Some come in for a quick trim, while others want a proper shave. We try to keep the shop tidy, but it definitely looks like a place where real work happens every day. There are combs sitting in jars of soapy water and towels hanging up to dry in the back. We don't do any fancy marketing or anything like that. Word usually just travels by mouth in this part of Vadodara. We know most of the families who live on this street by now. It is a quiet life of service. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
