Palak Hair Art

My shop Palak Hair Art has been in Subhanpura for quite a while now. We are right over at City Complex, number 2, which is easy to find if you look for the Golden Silver Apartment across the street. I started this place in Vadodara because I wanted a small spot where people could just come in and get their hair done without too much fuss. It isn't a fancy place with lots of big lights, but it works for the neighborhood. I spend most of my days here at the chair. Some days it is busy and other days it is just a few regulars who stop by to say hello. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, or we run out of tea, but that is just how it goes in a small business. People know us for being regular. We keep the mirrors clean and the floor swept as much as we can between customers. If you are walking around the 390007 area, you'll see our sign. It is a bit older now but it still stands out. I like talking to people while I work. We hear all sorts of stories from the folks living around here. It makes the day go by faster. Usually, we are open until late evening unless something comes up. It’s just a simple hair shop in a busy part of town. Nothing more to it than that, really. Just some scissors, combs, and a place to sit.
