O K Ladies & Gents Beauty Parlour

O K Ladies & Gents Beauty Parlour is situated in the Mastan Chamber building on the main road of Pani Gate. It’s a very busy area in Vadodara, and we are right opposite the Saibaba Mandir. You can often hear the bells and the music from the temple while we are working, which is actually quite nice. We take care of both men and women, so the shop is split up to give everyone their own space. It’s not a fancy Alkapuri style salon, it’s a local Pani Gate shop. We have the usual chairs and the basic equipment you’d expect. Most of our customers are from the surrounding streets and they’ve been coming to us for a long time. The Mastan Chamber building is an older one, so the walls have some character, to put it that way. We don't spend money on big advertisements; we just rely on the people who walk past the temple and see our sign. Sometimes we have a lot of kids coming in for haircuts, and that can get a bit loud and messy. But we enjoy the energy of the main road. It’s a simple life, cutting hair and doing beauty treatments for the neighborhood folks. We open early and stay until the temple crowds start to thin out at night. It’s a good spot to be in, right in the middle of everything.
