We are located over in Subhanpura on the 16th Main C. It’s a fairly straightforward area, mostly busy with people going to work or students heading to their next stop. Our classrooms aren’t like those high-tech centers you see in the glossy brochures; they are just simple rooms with wooden benches and whiteboards that have seen better days. We have been here for a bit now, and the walls have a few scuffs from students moving their heavy bags around. It gets quite loud during the breaks when everyone is out in the hallway talking at once and sharing snacks. We spend our days mostly preparing materials and making sure the rooms are somewhat tidy for the next group that comes in. The 16th Main can get a bit congested in the evenings when parents are dropping off their kids or picking them up. We don't have a big fancy neon sign, just the simple one that’s been there for years. The ceiling fans hum constantly to keep the heat away, which is just part of the background noise of learning here. Sometimes we have to shuffle the desks around to fit everyone in for a busy session, but we always make it work somehow. It’s a practical place for students, nothing too shiny or over-the-top. Most of the people who come here live right in the neighborhood. We know the local shopkeepers and the guy who sells tea at the corner.
