Our shop is right here in Karelibaug on the 36 A Cross. Most mornings, the place smells like oil and spices. We spend a lot of time frying things up and packing them into bags. It is a small place, so things get a bit crowded when people stop by after work. We started this because we know how to make snacks that people like with their tea. There is no fancy machinery here, just big pans and a lot of manual work. Waking up early is necessary to get the first batches ready. Oil makes the floor a little slippery sometimes, but we try to keep up with the cleaning. People come in for their favorites, and we usually know what they want before they ask. It is a regular routine every day. A website or anything like that is not something we have. Staying behind the counter and selling what we made that day is our life. The East End Main Road is always busy, so there is plenty of noise outside. We have been at this spot for quite some time now. Some days are busier than others, especially around the holidays when everyone wants snacks for their guests. We just keep frying and packing. It is simple, honest work. Seeing the same faces every week is nice. We make sure the glass cases stay full of fresh stuff for whoever walks in.
