Neel Beauty Parlour

Neel Beauty Parlour is just a small place we have here in Ganga Jamana Society. It is at C-107, right in Subhanpura. If you know where Golden Silver Apartment is, then you can find us easily because we are very close to that. We started this shop because there weren't many places nearby for women to get their hair done or get a quick facial without going all the way to the main market. The room is not very big, but we have enough space for a few chairs and all our supplies. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on Saturday mornings when everyone wants their eyebrows done at the same time. We have a small bench outside if the inside is full. My sister and I mostly run the place, and we have one helper who comes in the afternoons. The walls are painted a light blue, though the paint is peeling a bit near the corner where the water seeped in last monsoon. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People just walk in or call us on the phone. It is a quiet neighborhood usually, except when the kids are playing cricket in the society lane. We have lived in Vadodara for a long time, so we know most of the people who come in. It is just a normal business where we try to do a good job so people come back next month.
