Nayaks Tutorials Pvt Ltd is tucked away in Shop Number 19 at the Silver Rock building in Makarpura. We are right opposite Bhavans School, which makes it a very convenient spot for the students who come here after their regular classes are over. The office and the classrooms aren't very big, but we’ve managed to fit in enough benches and whiteboards to get the job done. It’s a fairly simple environment because we think the focus should stay on the books and the lessons. Vadodara can be a noisy city, and Makarpura has its fair share of traffic, but once the students are inside, it’s mostly just the sound of pens scratching on paper and teachers explaining math or science. We’ve been running this place for a while now and have seen many different batches of kids pass through. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that; we just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for years and people know us. Our days are pretty long, starting in the afternoon and going into the evening when the older students finish their school day. It’s a bit of a routine, checking the attendance and making sure the homework is done, but it’s what we do. We try to keep things practical and just help the kids get through their exams without making it too complicated for them. There is always a lot of tea drinking between classes too, just to keep our energy up.
