Mira Imitation

Mira Imitation sits at number 7 in the Anandvilla Complex. We are located right opposite Sainath Park, which is a good spot because families often walk their kids there in the evenings. Being near Raneshwar Temple on R C Dutt Road means the street stays busy on special days and festivals. We get a lot of people walking by after their morning prayers at the temple. The shop is filled with all sorts of items that we try to keep organized. It is a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but most people know the temple landmark so they find us. We have lived in this city forever and decided to open this place to stay busy. It isn't a huge operation by any means. Mostly it is just me and my cousin working the shifts. We know the regulars who live in Sainath Park and the surrounding apartment buildings. Sometimes the traffic on R C Dutt Road makes it hard for people to cross, but they usually manage to get over to us. We don’t have fancy air conditioning, just a couple of good ceiling fans that keep the air moving. We spend a lot of our time organizing the small items so they don’t get lost on the shelves. Every evening we tidy up the whole place before locking up for the night. It is honest work and we enjoy seeing the familiar faces every week. We don't have a website or anything like that.
