Mangalam Orthopaedic Hospital

You can find Mangalam Orthopaedic Hospital over at Nivedanam, near the Soma Talav Char Rasta on Dabhoi Road. It is a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of movement outside our doors. Our building isn't anything spectacular to look at from the street, but it works for what we do. Inside, we deal with a lot of bones and joints. People come in limping or with bandages, and we do what we can to help them out. The floors are hard tile and the lights are a bit bright, but that’s how hospitals are. We have some heavy equipment for x-rays and other things. The staff is usually walking fast because there is always something to attend to. It isn't a quiet place. You hear the sounds of wheelchairs and people talking in the hallways. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or big advertisements. Most of our patients come from the surrounding areas of Dabhoi Road. We just keep things moving as best as we can. Some days are longer than others, especially when we have several emergencies at once. We take our breaks in a small room in the back when there is time. It is a basic, functional hospital where we just focus on the orthopaedic work. We've been here at the Char Rasta for a while and we just keep doing our thing, helping with broken bones and whatever else comes in.
