P C Orthopads

We are located at Plot No. 336-43 in the GIDC Ind. Estate. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s a decent enough spot. At P C Orthopads, our day-to-day is mostly about fabric, foam, and sewing machines. It’s not as loud as the machine shops down the street, but the rhythmic clicking of the needles fills the room all day long. We’ve got rolls of material stacked up against the walls and large cutting tables in the middle of the floor. The light comes in through the high windows, showing all the lint floating in the air. We try to keep it clean, but when you're cutting padding all day, the floor is never really clear for long. We’ve been in this building for several years now, and the paint is peeling a bit near the ceiling. It’s a small operation. Most of the staff live nearby and walk to work, so we all know each other’s families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. We don't have a big fancy office for meetings; we usually just talk while we work or during the lunch break. It’s simple, steady work. We don't use any high-tech automation, just the same reliable machines we’ve had since the start. It’s a comfortable enough place to spend the day making things that help people out, and we don't plan on changing much.
