Solar Cnc Automation

Solar Cnc Automation is our small shop at Plot No. 747-6 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. We deal with CNC machines, which means we spend a lot of time looking at screens and then looking at metal. It’s a mix of computer work and getting our hands dirty. Sometimes the code has a tiny error and the machine does something weird, so we have to be careful. It’s a bit different from the traditional manual shops around here. We try to keep the place a bit cleaner because the computers don't like the dust. There’s always the sound of cooling fans and the cutting tools whirring. We have a couple of younger guys who are good with the software, and some older guys who know how the metal should behave. It’s a good balance. We don't really do much advertising; people usually find us through word of mouth when they have a complicated part to make. The mornings are usually spent setting up the programs for the day. We drink our coffee while the machines start up. It’s a steady pace of work. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure these parts are cut to the right size. If there's a problem, we just stay late until it’s sorted out. That’s how we operate here. It's just us and the machines mostly every single day.
