You can find us at Cosmos House on Padra Road, right at Plot No. 85-2. It’s a decent-sized place where we handle our import and export business. Being on Padra Road means we see a lot of traffic, which is good for logistics but can be noisy. Inside, it’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of phone calls. We deal with people from different places, so the clock is always running at odd hours sometimes. It’s not the kind of job where you sit still for long. There’s always a document to find or a shipment to track down. We don’t really do the whole corporate ladder thing here; it’s more about everyone pitching in when things get hectic. Some of us have been here since the building was first put up. The break room is where most of the real talking happens over tea. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or anything like that hanging on the walls. We just want to make sure the goods move from point A to point B without too much trouble. Sometimes the customs paperwork is a headache, but we just grind through it. It is practical work. We’ve built up a rhythm over the years at this address. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, without making a big fuss about things. We like the neighborhood and the people we deal with.
