About Shree Mahalaxmi Saw Mill – Shipping in Vadodara
At Shree Mahalaxmi Saw Mill, the first thing you notice is the smell of fresh cut wood. We are located at Plot No. 918-3 in the Gidc Ind. Estate, right in the thick of things. There’s always a pile of logs waiting to be processed out front. The saws make a lot of noise, so we have to shout a bit to hear each other during the day. It is a dusty job, and sawdust gets everywhere, even in our tea. We don't really mind it though. It’s good to see a rough log turn into something useful. We spend our hours measuring, cutting, and stacking timber. The plot is busy with trucks coming in to load up planks. It’s a practical environment. We don't have a lot of fancy technology, just the big saws and some strong hands to move the heavy stuff. Every piece of wood is different, so you have to pay attention to what you’re doing. The GIDC estate is a good place for a mill like ours. We’ve got neighbors doing all sorts of industrial work, but we’re the ones with the wood chips. It’s a long day on your feet, but it feels right when you see the stacks ready to go at the end of the shift. We usually start our cleaning at the end of the day, sweeping up the big piles so we can start fresh tomorrow.
