Our place is at 304, 1-b in the GIDC Estate. It’s a typical industrial spot for this area. We do manufacturing here, mostly metal parts and small components that go into bigger machines. The sound of the machines is constant from the moment we open the doors in the morning until we lock up. I usually get here before everyone else to get the power on and things started. We’ve been in this unit for over a decade now. It’s a bit cramped with all the raw materials stacked up and the finished products waiting to be shipped out to clients. We don't have a fancy showroom or a big lobby. If you want to see what we do, you have to come right onto the shop floor. It’s greasy and loud, but it’s where the real work happens every day. We have a few guys who are really good with the lathes and the drills. They’ve been doing this for a long time and don't need much instruction. We don't really have a sales team or marketing, people just know us from around the estate and call us when they need something specific made. We try to be fair with everyone who comes through the door. Sometimes we run into problems with the metal quality or a machine breaks down, and then we're all hands on deck to fix it. It’s a tough way to live, but we take pride in it.
