Laxmi Engineering Works

We’ve been here at Plot No. 855-1-a for quite a while now. The Gidc Ind. Estate is a busy place, and Laxmi Engineering Works is right in the middle of it all. It gets noisy with all the machines running, but that’s just how things go when you’re working with metal and parts. Some mornings start early, before the sun really hits the roof of the shed. We drink tea, look at what needs doing for the day, and just get to it. There isn't much fancy about the place. It’s a workshop, plain and simple. We have our tools and the grease on our hands to show for the day's work. Sometimes the machines act up or the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes of the estate, but we manage. People know where to find us. Just look for the sign near the corner. It's not a showroom; it's where the actual work happens. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing things down unless it's an order or a measurement. Most of the guys here have been around for years, so we know each other's ways. It’s just honest work day in and day out. We try to keep the floor swept, though with all the shavings, it's a bit of a losing battle. That’s just life at Plot No. 855-1-a. We stay busy, we keep our heads down, and we make sure the jobs get finished before we lock up for the night.
