Heavy Engineering Works

If you go down to Plot No. 588 in the Gidc Estate, you will find our workshop for Heavy Engineering Works. The name really tells you everything you need to know about what we do. We handle the big, heavy stuff that the smaller shops in the area cannot fit through their front doors. We have some large overhead cranes inside the building to move the heavy iron parts around. It is a very noisy place to spend the day, especially when the big hammers are going. We have been at this plot for a long time now. The walls are a bit stained from years of work and the concrete floor has some cracks, but it is a solid place for engineering. We do not do much paperwork if we can avoid it. We would much rather be out there on the floor fixing a machine or turning a large part on the lathe. Our team is small but they really know how to handle the heavy material safely. You have to be very careful in a place like this. We get orders from all over the region. Sometimes a truck shows up very early in the morning to drop off raw steel and we have to be there to unload it. It is a lifestyle for us. We do not have a marketing department. People know where Plot 588 is and they know what we do.
