Devesh Engineering Co

Our shop, Devesh Engineering Co, is located at 6/B Mahalakshmi Road, near the Heritage Hotel on Padra Road. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain the address, but once you’re here, it makes sense. We’re in an area with a lot of movement. The building itself is nothing fancy, just a solid place where we do our engineering work. We have machines that take up most of the floor space, so it’s a bit tight walking around. We don’t really have a reception area, just a desk near the front where we keep the logs and the phone. Most of our day is spent working with metal or looking at drawings. It gets hot in the summer, but we’re used to it. The noise of the machinery is something you stop hearing after a while. We aren't corporate people. We wear work clothes and usually have grease on our hands by ten in the morning. People come to us when they need something specific made or a part that they can't find anywhere else. We don't promise things we can't do. If it’s possible, we’ll take it on. We like being on Mahalakshmi Road; it’s a good spot for this kind of work. We’ve been at it for years and plan to stay right here. It’s just a local engineering shop doing what it does best. There is always something new to figure out, and we enjoy that part of the job.
