Madhurima Beauty Parlour

Madhurima Beauty Parlour is shop number 18 inside the Dreamland Complex. We are located near the Pramukh Prasad Crossing in the Manjalpur area of Vadodara. This crossing is a major spot, so there is always a lot of movement outside our doors. Manjalpur is a growing part of the city, and we have seen a lot of changes since we first opened here. The shop itself is pretty basic. We have the usual equipment you would expect in a beauty parlor. The mirrors are lined up, and we have a few chairs for the customers. It’s not a designer space, just a functional one where we do our daily jobs. I usually get here a bit before opening to set things out. The floors get swept a lot because we like to keep it as neat as we can. When it’s busy, the sound of hair dryers and people talking fills the whole room. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Word usually travels by mouth from one neighbor to another. It’s a simple setup where we focus on what needs to be done. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, as it does in Vadodara, but we just wait it out or use the emergency light. It’s just how life is here. We are glad to have a steady spot in Dreamland Complex after all these years of working in the neighborhood.
