Lucky Ladies& Gents Beauty Parlour

Our shop is Lucky Ladies & Gents Beauty Parlour, located right at Shop Number One in the Golden-Silver Apartment. We are on New Sama Road, specifically near the Chankyapuri Char Rasta. It’s a corner that stays busy from morning until late at night. The shop is small and rectangular. I have the men’s section on one side and the ladies' area separated by a curtain. It isn't anything fancy, just some basic chairs and mirrors. We get a lot of college kids and office workers because of the location. The apartment building is older, so the walls have a few cracks, but we try to keep the place looking clean. I usually have the radio on a local station just for some background noise. Working at Chankyapuri Char Rasta means you see a lot of traffic accidents and near misses outside the window. It’s a bit of a landmark for people in New Sama. I spend most of my day holding scissors or a comb. My hands get tired, but that’s the job. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us doing the work. People like that we are right on the main road. You can just park your scooter outside and jump in for a quick trim. It’s a busy life, but we’ve got used to the pace of this neighborhood over the years.
