Lips Beauty Parlour & Classes

If you walk up to the first floor of Abhilasha Square, you’ll find us at number 28. We’ve been here on Sama Road for a good while, right near the Abhilasha Char Rasta where it’s always busy. The parlour is a mix of things because we do the regular beauty work and we also have the classes running in the back. It gets pretty loud when the students are all practicing at once, but it’s a good kind of noise. We have the usual mirrors, chairs, and all the hair and skin stuff spread out. It’s not a fancy spa with soft music, it’s more of a working shop where people come to get their eyebrows done or learn how to do a proper facial. The 390002 area is where most of our regulars live, so we see the same faces quite a bit. Sometimes the air conditioner struggles when it’s really hot outside in Vadodara, but we make do with the fans. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look like a magazine. It’s more about the teaching and the actual service. People come in, they chat, they get their hair cut or they sit for a lesson, and then they head back out to the Sama Road traffic. It’s just a local business doing its thing day in and day out without much fuss. There is nothing special about it, just hard work and a lot of training.
