Youth Coterie

Youth Coterie is up on the second floor of Saraswati Complex, in unit Sf/215. If you’re familiar with Manjalpur, you know the complex—it’s always got bikes parked haphazardly out front and people moving in and out of the different shops. We’ve been here for a bit now, and the office is small but it fits us. The walls are a bit thin, so we can usually hear what’s going on in the next office, but we don't mind. It’s mostly just us sitting around the big table we hauled up the stairs when we first moved in. The window looks out over the parking area, which isn't much of a view, but it lets in some light during the day. We don't really have a set routine; some days are quiet and other days everyone is talking at once. The complex has a few tea stalls nearby, so there’s always someone coming in with a tray of small glass cups. We keep a few plants on the windowsill that we sometimes forget to water, though they seem to be hanging on. It’s a simple setup. We didn't bother with fancy signs or anything, just a small one by the door so people know they’re at the right place. It feels more like a hangout than a corporate office, which is fine by us. We just come in, do what needs doing, and head out when the sun goes down after a long day.
