Chho Mantar Magic School

You can find Chho Mantar Magic School over at the Nakshatra Complex, specifically units 113 and 114. We are right by the Vijay Nagar Crossing on Harni Road here in Baroda. It’s a bit of an unusual business, I know. Most people don't think about a school for magic when they walk through the complex. We have some practice rooms where we keep all the props and mirrors. It’s usually a bit of a mess because someone is always trying out a new trick or fixing a broken cabinet. We aren't performers who wear glittery suits all day long. Most of the time, we’re just regular folks teaching kids and adults how to use their hands and move around properly. It takes a lot of practice, and we aren't shy about saying it's difficult. Sometimes the cards fall on the floor and things don't go right, but that’s how you learn. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The neighborhood knows us as the place with the weird stuff in the windows. We don't have a big corporate team or anything. It’s just us showing people the ropes and sharing a few secrets. We like being part of the Baroda community. If you walk past the crossing, you’ll probably see our sign. It’s not a fancy academy, just a couple of rooms where we share what we know about the craft. We think it's a nice way to spend the day.
