Fashion World

Fashion World is based out of B20 Shivalya Duplex in Laxmipura. It’s a bit of a different setup since we are in a duplex, but it works for what we do. We have racks of clothes set up all over and we spend a lot of time sorting through new arrivals. It started because we just liked clothes and realized people in Laxmipura needed a place to find something decent to wear without driving too far into the city. The space isn't huge, so it gets a bit crowded when we get a big shipment in on Mondays. We usually have boxes sitting around for a few days while we try to organize everything. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets busy, especially on weekends when everyone is off work. We aren't a big mall store, so things are a lot more relaxed here. You might find us drinking tea while we fold shirts or rearrange the display for the third time that week. Sometimes we stay late to make sure everything is ready for the next morning. It’s a family-run kind of thing, really. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. It’s nice to see a neighbor walk out with a bag and a smile. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just a place where you can find something you like. It's a lot of work but we enjoy the routine of it and seeing what people pick out.
