You’ll find our Larsen Toubro Ltd Eengg Solutions team at number 5, Chandravilla Society. We are located near Arbuda Nagar on the Atmajyothhi Ashram Road in the Ellora Park area of Baroda. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood, which is good for the kind of technical work we do. The office is actually in a converted house, so it has a bit of a homey feel to it. There’s a small garden out front that we try to keep tidy, though the weeds usually seem to win that battle. Inside, we’ve turned the rooms into workspaces. It’s a bit unusual having a kitchen right next to the drafting room, but it makes getting tea a lot easier during long afternoons. We have a lot of books and technical manuals stacked up on every available surface. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but we know where everything is kept. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise or block the driveways with our cars when we arrive in the morning. We’ve been in this spot for a few years and it feels like home now. The air conditioner in the main room is old and rattles, but it keeps the computers from overheating. We don't have a receptionist; if you knock on the door, one of the engineers will eventually come and let you in. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it works for us. We just focus on the drawings.
