L&T Switchgear

We are located out in Village Ankhol, just behind the L&T Knowledge City area right off National Highway 8. It is a busy spot with all the trucks and cars zooming by on the highway all day long. Our work mainly involves switchgear, which most people don't think about until the power goes out or something stops working. We spend our time checking components and putting things together in the workshop. It’s a lot of hands-on work with wires and metal boxes. The team here is pretty small and we’ve known each other for years. We usually start the day quite early before the sun gets too hot. There is a lot of dust from the road, so we are always cleaning the equipment. We don't have a fancy office with leather chairs. It's mostly just workbenches and shelves full of parts. Sometimes people get lost looking for Knowledge City and end up at our gate, so we spend a bit of time giving directions. We are just a local operation trying to keep things running properly. Most of us live nearby in the village, so it’s a short walk or bike ride to get here. We take our tea breaks together and talk about the news or what’s happening in the village. It isn't a complicated life, but the work we do with the switchgear is important for keeping the lights on in other places.
