L&T Construction

We are located out by the NH-8, right near the Ajwa-Waghodia crossing. It is a bit of a trek to get out here, near the villages of Ankhol and Bapod, but that is where the work is. This is not a city office with glass walls or fancy carpets. It is a site office where things actually get built. We have big machines, piles of gravel, and yellow hard hats lying around all over the place. The highway noise is constant, with trucks zooming past at all hours of the day and night. We spend most of our time on our feet, walking across the dusty ground to check on how the structures are coming along. It gets really hot out here during the summer months, and the wind kicks up a lot of sand that gets into everything. We have a few water dispensers scattered around because the dust really gets to your throat after a few hours of being out near the road. We have a small cabin for the paperwork, but it is usually crowded with maps and site plans that have been rolled up a hundred times. It is a tough environment to work in, but it feels good to see something grow from nothing in the middle of a field. We are not here for the scenery; we are just here to get the construction done.
