La Grace Beauty & Hair Academy

Our place is at 8 Shrenik Park Society, right across from the Akota Stadium in the Akota area. It’s a nice neighborhood to be in. We’ve got a setup that’s part school and part salon. You’ll see students practicing hair cuts and makeup on mannequins or each other most days. It gets a bit messy with hair on the floor and bottles of product everywhere, but that’s just part of the learning process. We’ve been here in Vadodara for a while. The building isn't a modern glass tower; it’s more of a traditional house that’s been turned into a workspace. It feels a bit more like home that way. We have mirrors lined up against the walls and chairs that have seen a lot of use. People from the society often walk by and wave. It’s a friendly vibe. We teach people how to do hair and beauty work so they can find jobs or start their own small shops. It’s hands-on work, so there’s a lot of movement and noise. Sometimes we have too many students and not enough chairs, so we have to get creative with the space. We don't have a fancy reception desk, just a table where we keep the ledger and the phone. It’s a practical place where people come to learn a trade and improve their skills. We enjoy the buzz of the stadium nearby during match days. It keeps things exciting around the neighborhood.
