Khatri Mohammedsiddiq

We are located in Raopura inside M B Chambers which is an older building with a lot of character. Being right besides the Meer Bakarali Masjid is a big part of our daily life here because we hear the call to prayer and it helps us keep track of the time. The survey number for this spot is 1960 and it’s a busy corner of the city where people are always rushing somewhere. Khatri spends most of the day in the office handling the paperwork and talking to whoever comes in for business. The building has some narrow hallways and the stairs are a bit worn down but it’s a solid place to work. We have a few cupboards for our files and a couple of old chairs that have been around as long as the business has. Raopura is a crowded area so there is always something to see out the window if you take a break for a minute. We don’t go for any of that modern office decor, we just keep it functional and clean enough to get through the week. It’s a family-run kind of feeling where things happen at their own pace. Most of the people around here have known us for years and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit while we stayed in the same spot. It’s just a regular workplace doing regular things every day.
