Kds Beauty Parlour

Kds Beauty Parlour is inside the Sharda Complex on Sama Road here in Vadodara. I have been working out of this particular spot for a few years now. The complex itself is always buzzing with people going to the different shops, so there is always something interesting to see out the front window. Inside the parlour, things are kept pretty simple. I’ve got my stations set up for hair and skin work. I didn't want anything too flashy, just a place that felt real and was easy for anyone to walk into without feeling out of place. Most of the ladies who come in are from the nearby apartments. We talk about the weather or the price of vegetables while I am working on their hair. It’s a small team, usually just me and one helper when things get really busy during the festival season. We keep a big water jug in the corner for anyone who is thirsty after walking in the heat. The floor gets covered in hair clippings pretty quick, so I am always sweeping up between the clients. It is not the quietest place because of the traffic noise on Sama Road, but you get used to the sounds after a while. I try to keep the mirrors clean and the products organized on the wooden shelves, though it gets a bit messy by the end of a long Saturday. We don't have a fancy sign, just a simple one so people can find us.
