Kamal Beauty Parlour

Kamal Beauty Parlour is located right at A/3 in the Ajanta Co-op Housing Society. If you know the Race Course Circle area in Alkapuri, you have probably walked past us a few times already. It’s a nice part of Vadodara to be in, with a lot of movement through the day. I started this place a long time ago, and these walls have seen plenty of people come and go. We do the usual things like facials, waxing, and hair styling for the local ladies. It is not a huge space, but we make it work with what we have got. Most mornings I’m there early, opening up the shutters and getting the towels ready for the first client. Sometimes it is quiet and I can catch up on some news, but usually, the phone starts ringing pretty soon. The society neighbors are our main customers, so we know most of them by their names. It makes the long day go by a lot faster when you can talk about what’s happening in the colony while you are working. We’ve got some mirrors that have been here since the start and a couple of metal trolleys for the creams and tools. It is a very practical setup. There is nothing fancy or over the top about it, just a place where women come to get their hair done. Parking can be a bit tricky on the main road, but people usually find a spot inside the society lane or nearby. That is just how it is.
