This is Jyotsana K Parmar. Our place is in Pratap Nagar. To be exact, we are behind the Ratap Nagar police gate. It is right opposite the Maske Chawl. It’s a very busy part of the city. You see a lot of life going on every day. The chawl across from us is always full of activity. You can hear people talking and kids playing while we work. The police gate is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. We don't have a big corporate office. It is just a small room where we handle our business. The furniture is a bit old and we have stacks of papers everywhere. We don't really care about being fancy. We just want to get our work done. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains. Pratap Nagar is a place where everyone seems to know each other. We’ve been at this spot behind the police gate for a long time. Some days are very hot and we just keep the doors open to get a breeze. It’s a very simple way of living and working. We don't use any fancy marketing. People just know we are here. Sometimes the traffic by the police gate gets backed up, but we are used to it. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We are happy with our little corner here.
