Jigar Hair Art

Jigar Hair Art is located right at Sardar Chok, which is near the Abhilasha Char Rasta in New Sama. We are very close to the Ramji Mandir, so there are always people around. The shop is a typical local spot for hair cutting. We have those big, comfortable chairs and long mirrors on the walls. It’s usually busiest on Sunday mornings when everyone wants to look sharp for the week. We do basic shaves, hair trims, and some simple styling. Most of the guys who come in just want their usual cut. You can hear the traffic and the temple bells while we work. We have been here for a long time, so we know the local news and most of the people who live in New Sama. There are a few old posters of hair styles on the wall, but they are mostly for decoration. My tools are kept right on the counter where I can reach them easily. It’s a lot of standing, but I don't mind it. Sometimes we order tea from the stall nearby when there's a break in the crowd. There’s a small bench for people to wait their turn. We don't have any fancy lights or music, just the sound of the scissors and the local talk. It’s an honest way to spend the day in Vadodara. We try to keep the place clean, but hair gets everywhere when it’s busy. We just sweep it up and move to the next customer.
