Janu Cretaion

You can find Janu Cretaion right on Palace Road. If you’ve spent any time walking or driving down this road, you know how it gets with the crowds. It’s one of those busy streets where something is always happening and the noise never really stops. We have our little shop here and it’s been part of the local scenery for a while. We do various kinds of creative work, mostly things people need for their homes or for special days. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for us to work and for a few people to stand inside at once. Palace Road has so many different shops, but we’ve found our own little rhythm in this spot. Sometimes we sit at the front and watch the people go by when things are slow. The light in the shop isn't always the best for detailed work, but we make it work with what we have. We started this because we liked making things, and now it’s just what we do every morning. We open up, sweep the floor, and get to it. There isn't any fancy management or big speeches here. It's just honest work. Some days the humidity makes everything feel a bit sticky, but the fans keep us going through the afternoon. We’ve known the other shopkeepers around here for years. It’s a real community. We aren't trying to be the biggest place on the street, just a steady one.
