Hemal Beauty Parlour & Classes

Hemal Beauty Parlour & Classes is tucked away in the Gulab Vatika Society, specifically at B11. We are right behind Rajvi Tower on Old Padra Road in the Tandalja area of Vadodara. Since we do classes too, there are always young students around learning how to do makeup or how to style hair properly. It makes the place feel very lively, and sometimes even a bit loud with all the talking and practicing going on. I have been teaching for a long time now, along with doing the regular parlour work for my daily clients. The space is divided up so we have room for the salon chairs and a small area where the students can sit and take their notes. We use the wall mirrors a lot for the lessons. Vadodara is a city where people really care about how they look for big weddings, so we stay very busy during those months. The society is actually quite quiet compared to the noise of the main road, which is nice for us. You can actually hear yourself think inside here. I usually have a pot of tea going in the back room for when we take a short break. The students bring their own kits, so there are bags and boxes sitting everywhere sometimes. It is a bit of a squeeze when we have a full class and regular customers at the same time, but we manage to make it work. It feels personal and real here.
