Harsh Hair Art

Harsh Hair Art is over in Subhanpura at the Kailash Complex on Samta Road. We are at shop number three. It is a decent little spot in a good neighborhood. I have been cutting hair here for a few years now. Most of our customers are from the apartments around Samta Road. It is a residential area, so we see a lot of the same faces every month. We do haircuts for men and kids mostly. It is a basic setup with mirrors and some old pictures on the wall for style ideas, though most people just want the same thing every time. The shop stays fairly cool even in the summer because of the way the building is shaded. We keep the place clean, or at least as clean as you can keep a floor covered in hair. I usually have the radio playing some songs in the background. It is not a fancy salon with stylists; it is just a hair art shop where you can get a quick trim. If the chairs are full, there is a small bench outside where you can sit and watch the traffic go by on Samta Road. We do not take appointments, you just show up and wait your turn. Sometimes there is a wait, sometimes there is not. We just try to do a good job so people feel okay when they look in the mirror after we are done. That is the main thing for us.
