Happy Academy

Happy Academy is over in Sayajigun at Sambhaji Nagar 404. This place is usually pretty loud with the sound of people talking and studying. We are right here in the middle of Sayajigun. It is not a huge space by any means, but we make it work for all the students who come in and out. There are tables and mismatched chairs everywhere and usually a lot of papers scattered around on the desks. We spend our days helping people understand their lessons and getting through the thick books they have to read. It gets particularly busy in the late afternoons when everyone shows up at once after their regular school classes are over. The building itself is a bit older, but it is easy enough to find once you know the general area. We have a small staff and we all just pitch in to keep the place running. Sometimes the light in the back room flickers a bit, but we are all used to it by now. People bring their heavy bags and snacks and stay for a few hours at a time to get their work done. It is a very simple setup. We do not have any fancy decorations or expensive furniture. Just the basic things that are needed for teaching and learning. It is funny how much white chalk dust gets on everything including our clothes. Most of the folks who come here live nearby in the neighborhood. We know most of them by their names after just a week or so. It is just a local spot for people to get some extra help with their schoolwork.
