Golu Hair Cutting Art

If you go down to the Sant Kanwar Shopping Center in Varasia, you will find us. We are near the old RTO building, which everyone knows. The shop is called Golu Hair Cutting Art. It is a straightforward barber shop for the most part. We have the usual mirrors and the combs and the clippers. I have been cutting hair for a long time and I don't see any reason to make it more complicated than it needs to be. The shopping center is an old building and it has its own character. We have some regular guys who have been coming to me since they were kids. Now they bring their own kids here. It makes me feel a bit old, but it is nice to see the generations coming through. We talk about the news or the local cricket scores while I work. There is always some noise from the street outside, but inside we just focus on the hair and the shaves. We don't have any air conditioning, just the big ceiling fans that have been there forever. They work fine for us even in the heat. We keep the floor swept of hair as much as we can throughout the day. It is a busy life but it is good work. People in Varasia are hardworking and they just want a clean haircut for a fair price. That is what we provide every day from morning until we close up at night. We don't take many holidays either.
