Gayatri Hair Art

I run this small shop called Gayatri Hair Art right opposite Ajanta Aspartame in the Varasia area. It’s a pretty simple place in Sant Kanwar Colony. I’ve lived around here for a long time, so opening a shop on Varasia R.T.O. Road just felt like the right thing to do. We mostly do basic haircuts and shaves for the men who live nearby. It’s not one of those fancy salons you see in the malls. We just have the usual chairs, some old mirrors, and the sound of the radio playing in the background. Most mornings start with cleaning up the floor and getting the tools ready for whoever walks in first. You’ll see a lot of the same people coming in every month. We talk about the weather, how the local cricket matches are going, or just regular neighborhood gossip. It gets quite busy on Sunday mornings when everyone wants to look decent for the week ahead. Sometimes there’s a wait, but people just sit on the wooden bench outside and chat while they wait their turn. I try to keep things honest here. There are no complicated prices or anything like that. Just a straightforward haircut and maybe a quick shave if you need it. The fans keep the place cool enough, and we usually have some cold water for anyone who asks. It’s just a regular local business where we know most of our customers by name. We don't really do big advertisements, just word of mouth from people around Varasia.
