Gayatri Classes

Our place, Gayatri Classes, is situated in Raopura on the 36th Main in Dollars Colony. It is a bit of a trek for some, but it’s a good spot once you get here. The building isn't brand new, and the stairs can be a bit creaky when a lot of people are coming up at once. We have a few rooms set up for the classes, with benches that we’ve had to repair a couple of times. It is mostly just about sitting down and getting through the syllabus. Raopura is a busy part of the city, and Dollars Colony has its own pace. We spend our mornings setting up the rooms and our evenings actually teaching. The light in the rooms is okay, though we had to add a few extra bulbs last winter. We keep a stack of old textbooks in the corner for anyone who forgot theirs. It is not a high-tech environment; we still use a lot of paper and hand-written notes. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually go during the breaks. We know most of the parents who drop their kids off, and we’ve become a regular fixture in this street. It’s just a simple tuition center where we try to keep things quiet enough for people to learn something. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially around exam time.
