Falguni Patel Beauty Parlour

I’ve been running Falguni Patel Beauty Parlour here at 40 Upkaar Society for a while now. Most people around Ellora Park know the spot, right near Amrakunj Market. It isn’t a fancy place with bright lights or anything like that. It’s just a small room where I do threading and hair. I usually open up around ten in the morning after I’m done with my house stuff. Sometimes the fan makes a little clicking noise, but it works fine. People from the society come in when they have a wedding or just want to look tidy for the week. I have these two chairs that I bought years ago. They aren't the newest style, but they are comfortable for sitting while I work on your eyebrows. Dealing with the summer heat in Vadodara can be tough, so I try to keep the door shut to stay cool. Often, someone will drop by just to chat for five minutes while they wait for their turn. It gets busy on Sundays because everyone is off work. I do my own cleaning and keep the towels fresh. If I’m not there, I’m probably just getting some milk or something from the market next door. It’s a simple life. I like seeing the same faces. We talk about the kids or what’s happening in the neighborhood. It’s just how we do things here in this part of town. I don't use a computer for bookings. My daughter sometimes helps me with the phone calls.
