Welcome Shopping Center is where we have been set up for a long time. Our shop is number 18, and we are right at Vaccine Char Rasta on Old Padra Road. This is one of the busiest parts of Vadodara, especially with all the cars and bikes coming through the intersection. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite Punitnagar. It’s a ladies-only parlor, so it is a bit of a sanctuary from the hectic street outside. We have been doing this for years, and we have seen the area grow and change quite a bit. Inside the shopping center, it’s a bit more peaceful. We spend our days doing facials, manicures, and helping people get ready for local functions. The shop is cozy, maybe a little tight when we have four or five people waiting, but we make it work. We have old-fashioned chairs that are still very comfortable and a lot of mirrors to help us see every angle. Sometimes the tea stall guy from downstairs brings us snacks when we have a long day. We don't bother with fancy uniforms or anything like that; we just wear what’s comfortable for working long hours on our feet. It is a simple life of helping the women in the community look a bit tidier. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way.
