We have been here at Adhyapak Nager for quite some time now. Our shop is easy to find because we are right on Water Tank Road in Karelibaug. Most people just look for the Swaminarayan Temple or the Jain Temple nearby to get their bearings. It is a busy little spot in Vadodara. We open up in the morning and stay busy with local ladies coming in for their usual things. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on weekends, but that is just how it is around here. The area has changed a lot since we first started, but the water tank is still the main landmark for everyone. We do regular haircuts, threading, and the basic stuff people need to look tidy. It is not a fancy place with big lights, just a simple room where we get the work done. My neighbors know me well and we often chat while working. Dealing with hair and skin every day keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the traffic outside the temple gets loud, especially during festivals, but we are used to the noise. If you are walking down from the Jain Temple, you will see us. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the supply guy comes late or we run out of towels, just normal shop life things. It’s just us here, making sure people leave feeling a bit better than when they walked in.
