Dhiraj General Hospital

This hospital is located out in the Piplay Taluka area, near the Phanel Post. It's a bit of a journey for some, but for the people living in the taluka, it's the main place they come when something is wrong. The building is older and has that specific smell of antiseptic and old stone. We stay busy because there aren't many other options around here. From early morning, there's a line of people outside. We see everything from farm accidents to regular fevers. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we all know the locals quite well. It’s a functional place. We don’t have the latest high-tech gadgets you might find in the city, but we have what we need to take care of people. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to rely on the generator until it comes back. It's just part of life in this part of the country. The rooms are basic, with metal beds and simple fans. We do our best to keep things running smoothly despite the challenges of being in a more rural spot. There’s a lot of walking back and forth between the wards. We don't have time for much else. It's hard work, but it feels right being here. People rely on us, and we try not to let them down. It’s a quiet life, mostly, punctuated by the busyness of the clinic hours. We just keep going.
