Dhiraj Chandra Hospital

Out here on Waghodia Road, things stay pretty constant. This hospital in Piparia has been part of the landscape for quite some time now. People from the nearby villages and the edge of town usually find their way to us. It’s a big building, and there is always something going on, whether it's early morning or late at night. We deal with all sorts of cases. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other times the halls are full of families waiting for news. The staff just keeps moving from one task to the next. We have the usual departments you’d expect. The location on the main road makes it easy for ambulances to get in and out, which is good because traffic can get a bit messy around here. It's not the newest place around, but it serves the community well enough. You see a lot of life happening within these walls. Some days are harder than others, that's just the nature of hospital work. We don't really do big speeches or anything like that. We just show up, put on the scrubs, and see who needs help. There's a lot of paperwork, which nobody likes, but it has to get done. The tea stall across the road is where most of us go when we finally get a break. It's a busy life here in Waghodia and we just keep the doors open for anyone who needs us.
