Deepkala Hair Catting

The shop is called Deepkala Hair Catting and you can find us right near the Akota Bridge. It is a busy spot on the Akota Main Road, especially because we are sitting right opposite the Akota Police Line. You can hear the sirens or the officers moving around sometimes throughout the day. I’ve been running this place for a while now and the mirrors have started to get those little spots on them, but they still work fine for seeing what I’m doing with the scissors. The floor stays covered in hair most of the time because we are constantly busy, and sweeping only does so much when the next person is already waiting in the chair. It’s a small space, nothing like those big salons you see in the malls. We just have the basic chairs and the standard tools. People from around Akota come in when they need a quick trim or a shave before going to work. The tea stall next door is where I usually get my morning fix, and the smell of the chai sometimes drifts into the shop when the wind blows the right way. I don't really have a big staff, just me and a couple of guys who know how to handle a comb. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down over the bridge. We don't have fancy lights, just some old tubes.
