If you walk through Dandiya Bazaar, you’ll eventually find us. It’s a lively place to be, and there’s always something happening right outside our door. We’ve been taking photos here for a while, mostly focusing on the people who live and work around this area. The studio is filled with old tripods, different backdrops that have seen better days, and a few lights that we move around constantly. It’s not a polished gallery or anything like that. It’s a working space where we spend time editing on the computer or cleaning our lenses. Sometimes a family comes in for a portrait, and we have to shuffle things around to make room for everyone. Other times, we’re out in the bazaar itself, catching shots of the local life. There’s a lot of dust in the air sometimes, so we’re always wiping down the gear. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle a camera. The walls are covered with some of our favorite shots from over the years, mostly just things that caught our eye. It’s a bit of a squeeze when it’s busy, but we like the energy of the bazaar. We just keep our heads down, take our pictures, and try to make sure every shot looks okay before we send it off. It is a simple life centered around the lens and the people we meet.
