Chandan Hospital

Our hospital is situated in the Old Navrang Talkies Compound in Raopura. Most of the older people in Vadodara remember the cinema hall that used to be here, so finding us is not usually a problem once you mention the location. The compound is a bit of a mix of old buildings and narrow paths, which is very typical for the Raopura area. We have stayed in this spot for many years, even as the city has grown and changed around us. Inside, the hospital is functional. We have wards for patients who need to stay and a small operating room for minor things. It is not a shiny new building with glass walls; it feels like an older, lived-in place because it is. We have a dedicated team of nurses and ward boys who have been with us for a long time. They know how to handle the rush. In the afternoons, it can get quite hot in the courtyard, but the thick walls of the old construction keep the rooms fairly cool. We mostly serve the families living in the heart of the city. We do not do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people come to us because their parents or grandparents did. It is a bit of a landmark in its own small way. We just focus on providing basic, reliable medical care to the local crowd.
